Torrontes
Torrontes is a large golden colored grape, with narrow long clusters, mostly grown in Argentina producing aromatic wines of peaches and apricots with medium high acidity and smooth texture. (The Torrontes of Spain has unrelated DNA than the DNA of the Torrontes of Argentina). Torrontes has exceptional quality and thrives in dry, higher altitude and is also used in Chilean brandy. It is likely related to Moscato and shares its aromatics.
