Counoise
Counoise is a dark-skinned grape from the Rhone region of France. It has medium tannin and medium+ acidity acidity, but because it lacks in color and body, is typically a blending grape or perfect for rosé production. Counoise adds floral aromas on the nose as well as a pepper note, plum, strawberry, and cassis flavors. It pairs well with fish or light chicken dinners.
